Российское ЗАО "Синтезморнефтегаз" (предприятие группы "Синтез") подписало контракт с индонезийским BP Migas (государственный орган, регулирующий добычу нефти и газа) соглашение о разделе продукции нефтяного месторождения на шельфе к северу от городу Сурабая (провинция Восточная Ява). Этот первый в истории контракт о добыче российской компанией индонезийской нефти станет началом широкого сотрудничества между Россией и Индонезией в данной области, надеются представители обеих сторон. "Я надеюсь, мы увидим в будущем настоящий прорыв сюда российских компаний", - заявил РИА Новости министр энергетики Индонезии Пурномо Юсгианторо. "Мы сделали крупный шаг", - сказал, со своей стороны, генеральный директор ЗАО "Синтезморнефтегаз" Юрий Федоровский. Российские компании потянулись в Индонезию после прошлогоднего визита в эту страну президента РФ Владимира Путина и выступления президентов обеих стран на бизнес-форуме, отмечает посол России в Джакарте Александр Иванов. "Это был мощный политический импульс нашим и индонезийским компаниям к налаживанию взаимодействия, и сегодня мы видим его конкретный результат: первая российская компания выиграла тендер на нефтяной блок в Индонезии", - сказал он. "Причем это произошло на фоне глобального финансового кризиса, и я считаю, что это знаковое событие в контексте российско-индонезийских отношений, которое дает пример взаимодействия и другим российским и индонезийским компаниям", - отметил посол. Индонезия, добывающая сейчас в среднем чуть менее миллиона баррелей нефти в день и превратившаяся в последние годы из нетто-экспортера в нетто-импортера нефти и нефтепродуктов, в начале сентября приостановила свое членство в Организации стран-экспортеров нефти (ОПЕК). Между тем, потенциал нефтедобычи в четвертой по численности населения стране мира по-прежнему весьма велик. По данным журнала "Добыча нефти и газа", на январь прошлого года Индонезия имела 4,3 миллиарда баррелей только достоверных запасов "черного золота".

JAKARTA, Nov. 14 — Sintezmorneftegaz, a subsidiary of Russia's petrochemicals giant Sintez Group, signed on Thursday a contract with Indonesia's BP Migas on developing an oil deposit in the country's East Java province. Work will be carried out at a deposit north of the province's capital of Surabaya. Sintezmorneftegaz will become the first Russian company to extract crude in Indonesia. The parties hope the contract on oil extraction under production sharing terms will pave the way for broad cooperation between Russia and Indonesia in this field. "I hope we'll see a real rush by Russian companies into the country in the future," Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro said. In turn, Sintezmorneftegaz CEO Yuri Fedorovsky said the company had made a major step. "We hope we have received a promising block and will start work on its exploration this year." The parties declined however to disclose estimates for the block's reserves. The program developed by Sintezmorneftegaz for the block's development envisages environmental studies, seismic and exploratory drilling work in the next three years. According to the Oil & Gas Journal, Indonesia's proven oil reserves alone amounted to 4.3 billion barrels in January 2007. (PNA/RIA Novosti)

31 октября 2008 г. в Джакарте состоялось объявление победителей по регулярному тендеру 2007 на получение прав пользования недрами в Индонезии. ОАО "Синтезморнефтегаз" объявлено победителем по блоку Ист Бавиан 1 (East Bawean I). Проект был инициирован компанией Антикс Лтд. и реализован совместно с проектной группой ОАО "Синтезморнефтегаз" и PT Archipelago Resources. Соглашение о разделе продукции с правительством Республики Индонезия будет подписано в Джакарте 13 ноября 2008 г. ОАО Синтезморнефтегаз стало первой Российской нефтяной компанией, получившей право разработки углеводородов в Республике Индонезия.

On October 31 2008 in Jakarta it was announced Bid Winners for Oil and Gas regular bid 2007 in Indonesia. JSC Sintezmorneftegas was announced bid winner on Block East Bawean I. The Project was initiated by Antix Ltd and implemented in cooperation with working team of JSC Sintezmorneftegas and PT Archipelago Resources (Indonesia). Production Sharing Contract between JSC Sintezmorneftegas and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia will be signed in Jakarta on November 13, 2008. JSC Sintezmorneftegas has become the first Russian oil company obtained the right for exploration and production in the Republic of Indonesia.

On the 28th of December the New Tender Round for 2007 was announced in the Republic of Indonesia. Tender documents have been put on sell starting from January 14. On the 6th of September 2007 the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin paid an official state visit to Jakarta and had wide range negotiations with the President of the Republic of Indonesia Dr. Susilo Bambang Yodhoyono. Within the frames of the visit the Russian-Indonesian Business Forum held in Jakarta. Our company took part in the Forum, introducing to Indonesian market Sintez Group (Russian Federation). Sintez Group being our Client has expressed solid intentions to participate in the coming oil and gas tenders round. During the forum Sintez signed an Agreement (sponsored by our company) with PT Archipelago Energy Resources (Indonesia). Archipelago will facilitate Sintez participation in tenders from Indonesian side.
